Ferenczi’s Influence on Contemporary Psychoanalytic Traditions
This collection covers all the topics relevant for understanding the importance of Sándor Ferenczi and his influence on contemporary psychoanalysis. Pre-eminent Ferenczi scholars were solicited to contribute succint reviews of their fields of expertise. The book is divided in five sections. 'The historico-biographical' describes Ferenczi's childhood and student days, his marriage, brief analyses with Freud, his correspondences and contributions to daily press in Budapest, list of his patients' true identities, and a paper about his untimely death. 'The development of Ferenczi's ideas' reviews his ideas before his first encounter with psychoanalysis, his relationship with peers, friendship with Groddeck, emancipation from Freud, and review of the importance of his Clinical Diary. The third section reviews Ferenczi's clinical concepts and work: trauma, unwelcome child, wise baby, identification with aggressor, mutual analysis, and many others. In 'Echoes', we follow traces of Ferenczi's influence on virtually all traditions in contemporary psychoanalysis: interpersonal, independent, Kleinian, Lacanian, relational, etc.

Tra il 1518 e il 1519 Antonio Allegri detto il Correggio affrescò a Parma, all'interno del monastero benedettino femminile di San Paolo, una stanza dell'appartamento della badessa Giovanna da Piacenza. L'affresco si rivelò immediatamente di concezione innovativa, di tematica unitaria e di straordinaria felicità figurativa, grazie al mescolarsi di elementi naturalistici, mitologici e concettuali. La camera, destinata alla clausura e ignorata per oltre due secoli, fu riscoperta e valorizzata soltanto alla fine del Settecento. Con questo settimo quaderno della collana curata da Giuseppe Adani, la Fondazione "Il Correggio" porta nuovamente all'attenzione del pubblico la celebre camera, accogliendo l'innovativa interpretazione che ne dà Michele Frazzi. The Origins of Development Economics
Historically much economic thought, especially until the 1960s, has been preoccupied with development economics. In the second half of the 20th century, narrow abstract approaches displaced historically informed discourses, marginalizing greater appreciation of history and the social sciences. Dryland ecosystems support a surprising amount of biodiversity; desertification, however, is a significant land degradation problem in the arid, semi-arid and dry sub-humid regions of the world. The situation is likely to worsen with high population growth rates and accompanying land-use conflicts.
