Heal-Heald
Descendants of Peter Heal, who married Miriam Haskel in Gloucester, Massachusetts on June 1, 1732. Both were residents of that town. Peter Heal's will was probated on Sept. 6, 1748 in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Miriam Heal married (2) John Dun (or Dunn) in 1749 in Georgetown, Massachusetts. Peter and Miriam Heal had five children: Peter, who married Deborah Stover in 1752 in York, Maine; John (1737-1802), who married Rachel Brooks in 1761; David (b. 1738), who married Sally Edes; Mary (b. 1740), who married Edward Savage; and Abigel (b. 1745), who married Brooks McKinney in 1765. Descendants live in Maine and elsewhere.
