Genealogy of the Bergey Family
John Ulrich Bergey and his wife Mary purchased land in Philadelphia County, now Montogomery County, Pennsylvania in 1726. They had eleven children. It is believed they emigrated from Switzerland, possibly in 1919. Descendants are listed to 1923.
Billups and Allied Families
George Billups (ca. 1630-ca. 1673) and his wife, Sarah, lived in Virginia as early as 1653. They had at least three children. Desc- endants and relatives lived also in Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee and elsewhere.
